Hi, I'm Lanie!

My passion for photography started in my own backyard about 10 years ago... with my mom's hot pink digital camera, and a couple of Barbie dolls, LOL..

But it really ignited after the birth of my first daughter, that year my husband let me invest our tax return into a Canon EOS R and I haven't been able to put it down since! In the loneliness of being a first time mom I discovered a passion for meeting new people and making art together showcasing their stories, for the walls of their homes.

Why hire a photographer?

When you look at a picture your brain immediately takes you back to what that moment was like. What did you hear? What did you smell? How did you feel? I certainly don't want to hang up memories of me chasing my daughter around, begging her to behave, or memories of me anxious that my hair wasn't sitting right, and I'm sure neither do you!

My mom says I'm really cool, so...

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas; where I met my amazing Husband and better half! We met when I was in the 8th grade at a ballroom dance class for homeschoolers. That's right, I'm a certified weirdo AND I can teach you how to tango!...(Olay!) Together we share one amazing daughter named Stella, and two crazy Goldendoodles. My Husband's career with the Air Force brought us to the fabulous Las Vegas in 2022, and I never want to leave!
